Holistically, UT is fantastic.

How about the business school? McCombs Business School is rated as the seventh best undergraduate business program in the nation. Engineering? 11th. Nursing? 13th. Any major at UT is well-represented with top-notch faculty and fantastic resources throughout.

Attending UT means living in downtown Austin. Rated as the best city to live in according to WalletHub, Austin is the place to be and has something for everyone. Enjoy great food? Eateries such as Shake Shack, Chi’lantro and Torchy’s among many others are located directly in Austin. Love music? UT has an atmosphere that breeds individuality and diversity, but creates unity through many students’ drive to change the world and do great things. Changing the world and doing great things isn’t something foreign to UT; ask Founder and CEO of Dell, Michael S. Dell, Astrophysicist and Cosmologist Neil deGrasse Tyson or actor Matthew McConaughey. UT willingly gives every student and faculty member the opportunity to research in their field of interest, averaging $618 million in research expenditures over the past four years.
